Gratitude has been proven to be a very powerful tool to achieve a healthier life.

I have personally seen this in my own life. Where you bring your attention determines how you feel. What you think about you bring about.

Write down 3 things you are grateful for each day. Studies have shown a significant positive difference in the level of happiness in just three weeks.

An increase in happiness through gratitude affects all areas of life:

We are not controlled by what happens to us, but by the perceptions we make of them. “Life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it.” ~Charles Swindoll. Through gratitude we can reset how we view our situation. Personally after a long and difficult day I like sitting down and writing down 3 things I am thankful for to refocus my thoughts. Wow, it has made a huge difference. Sometimes it can be as simple as I have a roof over my head, I made it home safe from the store, and my family’s love for me.
